আসন্ন বোরো মৌসুমের ধান ও চালের সংগ্রহ মূল্য নির্ধারণ করেছে সরকার। বৃহস্পতিবার মন্ত্রিপরিষদ সভাকক্ষে খাদ্য পরিকল্পনা ও পরিধারণ কমিটির (এফপিএমসি) সভায় এই মূল্য নির্ধারণ করা হয়। সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন খাদ্যমন্ত্রী সাধন চন্দ্র মজুমদার।
কৃষিমন্ত্রী ড. আব্দুর রাজ্জাক, স্থানীয় সরকার, পল্লী উন্নয়ন ও সমবায় মন্ত্রী তাজুল ইসলাম,স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রী জাহিদ মালেক, বাণিজ্যমন্ত্রী টিপু মুনশি এবং মৎস্য ও প্রাণিসম্পদ মন্ত্রী শ ম রেজাউল করিম সভায় অংশ নেন।
সভায় আসন্ন বোরো সংগ্রহ মৌসুমে ৪ লাখ লাখ টন ধান, সাড়ে ১২ লাখ টন সিদ্ধ চাল এবং ১ লাখ টন গম সংগ্রহের লক্ষ্যমাত্রা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। অভ্যন্তরীণ সংগ্রহ ৭ মে থেকে শুরু হয়ে ৩১ আগস্ট ২০২৩ পর্যন্ত চলবে। এতে প্রতি কেজি বোরো ধানের সংগ্রহ মূল্য নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে ৩০ টাকা, সিদ্ধ চাল ৪৪ টাকা এবং গম ৩৫ টাকা। ২০২২ সালে বোরো সংগ্রহ মৌসুমে ধান-চাল ও গমের মূল্য ছিল যথাক্রমে ধান ২৭ টাকা, সিদ্ধ চাল ৪০ টাকা এবং গম ২৮ টাকা। সভায় মন্ত্রিপরিষদ সচিবসহ বিভিন্ন মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিবরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
