রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ২০২২-২৩ শিক্ষাবর্ষে স্নাতক প্রথম বর্ষের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা আগামীকাল সোমবার থেকে শুরু হবে। এ, বি ও সি— এই তিন ইউনিটে আয়োজিত এ ভর্তি পরীক্ষা চলবে আগামী ৩১ মে পর্যন্ত। ইতোমধ্যে ভর্তি পরীক্ষা নিয়ে সব প্রস্তুতি সম্পন্ন করেছে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসন।
শনিবার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শহিদ তাজউদ্দীন আহমদ সিনেট ভবনে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে রাবি উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক গোলাম সাব্বির সাত্তার এ তথ্য জানান।
এ সময় উপাচার্য বলেন, এবারে কোটাসহ চার হাজার ৪৬৭ আসনের বিপরীতে ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় বসবে এক লাখ ৭৮ হাজার ৫৯১ শিক্ষার্থী। পরীক্ষা শুরুর ১ ঘণ্টা আগে ভবনের গেট ও ৩০ মিনিট আগে পরীক্ষা কক্ষের প্রবেশগেট খুলে দেওয়া হবে। পরীক্ষা চলাকালে কোনো পরীক্ষার্থী পরীক্ষা কক্ষের বাইরে যেতে পারবে না এবং পরীক্ষার হলে মোবাইল ফোন ও ক্যালকুলেটরসহ মেমোরিযুক্ত অন্য কোনো ধরনের ইলেকট্রনিক ডিভাইস সঙ্গে রাখা যাবে না।
উপাচার্য বলেন, ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় জালিয়াতি রোধে অসাধুচক্রের সদস্যদের তাৎক্ষণিক শাস্তি বিধানে নির্বাহী ম্যাজিস্ট্রেটের নেতৃত্বে ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত ও শান্তি-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষা বাহিনী সার্বক্ষণিক দায়িত্ব পালন করবে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভিন্ন স্থানে স্থাপিত ১১টি হেল্পডেস্কের মাধ্যমে পরীক্ষার্থী ও অভিভাবকদের সহযোগিতা প্রদান করবে। এসব হেল্পডেস্কে পানির ব্যবস্থাও থাকবে।
তিনি আরও বলেন, প্রত্যেক পরীক্ষার্থীকে প্রবেশপত্রের কয়েকটি করে কপি সঙ্গে আনতে হবে এবং পরীক্ষার্থীদের ব্যক্তিগত সরঞ্জামাদি নিজ দায়িত্বে রাখতে হবে। পরীক্ষার্থীদের বিভিন্ন আবাসিক হলে সীমিত আকারে থাকার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। এ ছাড়া নারী অভিভাবকদের অবস্থানের জন্য রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পশ্চিম পাশে ৯০ নম্বর বাসায় সীমিত ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে।
